The mission of Rose City Cycling is to promote and foster interest and participation in cycling to improve the overall health and wellness in the communities of East Texas. RCC is here to connect you with all things cycling.
If you have an interest in Road, Gravel, Leisure Riding, Racing, Mountain Bikes and Giving back to the community, RCC is the club for you!
RCR Junior Team
Road
Leisure or racing, we offer distances and paces for various skill levels and experience.
Gravel
Our gravel rides offer challenging terrains and the opportunity to explore scenic backroads.
Mountain
Come ride or help improve our trail systems at Faulkner, Lindsey and Blackhawk parks.
Juniors
Grades 6 - 12 and love cycling? Join us! Train hard, race hard, have fun!
Women
The club is dedicated to connecting women cyclists through quarterly events, female only rides and messenger pages.
Community
We strongly believe in giving back to our community participating in various events.
RCR Junior Team Fundraiser
Money from this campaign will go into supporting our junior race team! This funding helps cover costs for training, racing, and supplies needed annually, such as extra helmets, loaner bikes, as well as ensuring all costs are covered for the juniors’ families. RCR Junior NICA Team
Improve your physical fitness and wellness. Be part of a fun and respectful community. Cultivate integrity, resilience, compassion, and confidence.
- Youth mtb riders – Grades 5 to 12
- Sunday practices – first Sunday in November to May from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M.
- Six (6) weeks of camping and racing with NICA
- NICA trained and certified coaches

Volunteer Opportunities
RCC has many volunteer opportunities. Whether it's trails, running event bike lead-out, committee or board role, educational events, no drop ride sweeper or ride captain, document the hours on the RCC Volunteer Survey.
Bike Lead-Out Opportunities
Cyclists volunteer for bike lead outs to pace and provide encouragement to runners participating in the CHRISTUS Halloween Hustle, Jacksonville Jingle Jog, and FRESH 15. Register for bike lead-out using SignUpGenius, a popular online sign up service to organize group events.
