The Beauty and the Beast Tour and Race, an epic East Texas tradition, challenges cyclists to conquer the infamous “Beast” climbs amid stunning fall East Texas scenery. Celebrating its 35th year with a vibrant throwback to its 1980’s roots, cyclists will enjoy three (3) full days of epic rides and after parties.

BNB24 promises a thrilling weekend of adventure, fitness, and unforgettable fun for all ages and skill levels!

A ride like no other

Cyclists from near and far join us for the Beauty and the Beast Tour and Race each year, drawn by the dual allure of conquering the notorious “Beast” climbs and experiencing the natural beauty of East Texas in fall. This storied event has, over its 34-year history, become a prominent local tradition, attracting crowds ranging from 700 to over 4,500 riders and their families. These participants not only take on the challenge of the ride but also contribute to the local economy, filling hotels, enjoying local cuisine, shopping at unique retail stores, and providing a substantial economic boost to East Texas and our BNB sponsors.

This year, we’re turning back the clock to the vibrant 1980s, celebrating the era where the roots of the Beauty and the Beast event were planted. Get ready to don your neon gear, channel your inner ’80s cyclist, and embrace the nostalgia as we celebrate the era’s bold spirit and even bigger hair. We are gearing up for a fun-filled adventure in East Texas, from October 11-13. Our goal is to offer a weekend of cycling excitement that caters to all—from casual riders to seasoned racers, from children to seniors—while promoting health, fitness and getting outdoors. This year, BNB transforms into much more than a 1-day event. BNB24 is an entire weekend of adventure, fun and fitness that will leave participants counting the days until next year’s event.
